USA: the market shares of the digital music – Allied Digital

According to the NPD signature for the third quarter of 2010, iTunes and Amazon have increased their shares in sales of digital music in the country.

Having achieved a share of 66.2%, iTunes has increased its market share by 63.2% achieved in the third quarter of 2009. In addition, Amazon MP3 would have grown from 11% to 13.3%, which would mean that their heavy discounts are not yet impacting significantly on the Apple music store.
